synopsis :

A girl sees Azrael and a monster fighting and thinks they are demons. Orchid's assistant came to take Jean-Paul Valley away but gets decked. Orchid reveals that the monster and Azrael were hallucinations. Orchids brother, a low IQ cult leader decides to cease his brothers blasphemous experiments. When they entered the compound wielding weapons Azrael again manifested and drove them off. Orchid asks Jean-Paul to allow him to examine him and Orchid summons forth from Jean-Pauls psyche the bestial angel.

Review :

With only a couple of pages devoted to the supporting cast this issue Denny packs in three things of note, that Lilhy is begining to function like a normal person, that she is very fond of expensive things and that she still doesn't fit in with the outside world. That she doesn't use contractions is both obvious and increasingly shows she is adapting to the trappings of the outside world but continues to think as she did when she was a member of the order of St. Dumas.

Rant :

It seems that Orchid was using suggestion to make Jean-Paul think that the raging angel was his true self and so summon that to deal with his brother. I'm unsure in my opion of Orchid's assistant were his constant beatings meant to be humourous, whatever they were they did a good job of illustrating Jean-Paul's current deadly nature.
