Azrael returns to rescue Brian and Lilhy and returns to the Grey Abbott's laboratory where the Abbott sets a pair of vicious animals on him. Azrael kills the animals and knocks the Abbott out before feeding on the carcasses of the animals that he killed. Brian and Lilhy look for a way out and find a hovercraft Brian retrieves Azrael and some books before the hovercraft takes off. After passing through a sandstorm the hovercraft is shot down by some attack helicopters.

Review :

It's easy to see where Barry's work begins and where Scott Eaton's work begins. Their style is similar but one can also see a resemblence to Staz Johnson's work In Scott Eaton's. Both artists are very capable and their characters display a wide range of emotion even though Scott has better command of body language and a more humourous style.

While Denny's script is rather stop-and-go he makes up for it by providing us with a bit of a glimpse into the workings of the order. His use of Azrael as a character is excellent, using the feral state to it's fullest and using the state of silence to tax the abilities of the artists he's working with.

Rant :

Wow Azrael's first T & A shot, an event to remember, Azrael is growing up "sniff". That Lilhy is a very healthy gal, I wouldn't mind if Scott Eaton was to pencil Azrael permanently he draws Lilhy very well. His work's resemblence to Barry's and Staz's art makes me wonder if he's from England like they are.
