In the short time he has known Jean-Paul Valley he has given him insights into himself, namely making it clear that Jean-Paul has a major hang up about angels. Harry is a man who shares his thoughts easily and enjoys history and mythology. Since regaling Jean-Paul with a tale of "The Devil" Latour he wound up with his fellow passenger being dugged on a tropical island. When Azrael secured their escape he jumped ship and retuned to the island.
